Baptismal Classes are a prerequisite before having your child baptized. The Baptismal classes give parents and godparents a firm understanding of the first holy sacrament of Baptism. Classes are offered once a month, generally on the first Monday at 6:00 pm, and include sharing the meaning of Baptism, the history of Baptism, the signs and symbols of Baptism and an overview of the rite itself. See the Parish Bulletin for schedule changes.
Special information for January - April 2023: Baptism class is typically on the first Monday of the month at 6 pm in Parish meeting room #1 unless the church office is closed for Monday holidays. Due to construction at the west entrance of the church, only the east entrance (covered school entrance) will be open in the evening. The meeting room for class is the first door on the left.
Who should attend the Class? - Parents must attend a baptism class. Godparents are also encouraged to do so. If you have attended the Baptism class within the last 3 years, you are not required to retake the Baptism class. If it has been over 3 years since you last attended, the pastor may recommend that you retake the class.
