Anointing of the Sick "is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time to receive this sacrament has certainly arrived." -CCC, no.1514
Contact the Parish Office if a family member or friend is hospitalized or homebound and would like to receive the Eucharist and/or the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
If you know that you will be going to the hospital or having outpatient surgery and would like to receive the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, please try to arrange reception of the sacrament with a priest before your hospital visit. Also, patient and family members must inform hospital administration of the desire for a priest to visit the patient during an unexpected or extended hospital stay. The hospital limits visitors to those requested by the patient or family member.
For sacramental emergencies after hours, dial 207 to leave a message.
