There is some news from our sister parish Our Lady of Mt Carmel in Cabaret, Haiti. The pastor Pere Guy is alive, unlike thousands of others throughout the country. The church buildings in Cabaret and Bellanger are still standing, but the extent of the damage is unknown at the moment. There will be a second collection for Haiti at all Masses on January 16 and 17. Saturday, January 30 will be our church orientation day for ministers and organizations.
